JP Auclair Signature Series CROWBAR SNOW Goggles - Tokyo subway/persimmon lens.
It may come as a shock to know that in the ‘90s, the “New Canadian Air Force” performed high altitude bombing in U.S. territory. All hell broke loose in the ski industry and it hasn’t been the same since. JP was part of the squadron that took freestyle past moguls and into new school arenas like park skiing and halfpipe. We’ve always had respect for athletes who push possibility beyond all sane limits, so we’re honoring J.P. with this special edition of our CROWBAR Snow goggle.
Custom designs like this are all about inspiration, and maybe tearing off a chunk of what makes athletes like J.P. Auclair true originals with no apologies. With all his travels, J.P. says Tokyo is one of his favorite places on the planet, so JP and Oakley worked up the idea of a Tokyo subway map with some Oakley attitude at every stop. Two lens options are available, and both increase visual contrast to bring out detail and improve depth perception. Persimmon takes you from low light to medium-bright sun. Fire IRIDIUM® balances light on bright days and begs for sun-baked altitude.

One of the hardest working pros in skiing, Seth Morrison is renowned for charging big mountain lines in AK and skiing bell to bell almost every day of the ski season. He has survived monster avalanches and miles of vertical with a punk-rock persona that runs on pure adrenalin. That’s what inspired the skull graphics on this Signature Series goggle, a salute to an athlete who defies gravity, dares fate and devours mountains.
We made comfort a priority because Seth doesn’t need any distractions when he hits freefall velocity. That’s why we created a true anatomical fit, balanced it with strap connectors that evenly distribute the pressure points, and added a triple layer of fleece foam that wicks away sweat.
